Possible “estrogen-like” effect; not recommended in cases of mastosis or hormone-dependent cancers (breast, ovary, endometrium). Some natural compounds in this essential oil may pose an allergy risk for sensitive individuals when incorporated into a cosmetic formulation (according to the 7th Amendment of the European Cosmetic Products Directive (2003/15/EC)): limonene and, to a lesser extent, linalool. As a general rule, always perform a patch test on the inside of the elbow at least 48 hours before use. Keep out of reach of children.
